James Gordon Profiled in new ‘Gotham’ Promo!

Everything about the new ‘Gotham‘ TV series coming to Fox hinges on the successful depiction of James Gordon who will be the center piece of the show. Today, in the latest promo for the show we get a nice profile of James Gordon, the man who will eventually become Police Commissioner Gordon that we are all familiar with. Following the previously-released Oswald Cobblepot and Fish Mooney promos, FOX has now debuted a promo for the upcoming “Gotham” which profiles Ben McKenzie in the lead role of Detective James Gordon. Featuring McKenzie, showrunner Bruno Heller, and Geoff Johns, the video also reveals some bits of new footage in addition to a behind-the-scenes peek. Check it out in the player below.

“Gotham” is an origin story of the great DC Comics super villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”), “Gotham” follows one cop’s rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.

Also starring Donal Logue, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Zabryna Guevara, Erin Richards, David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova, David Zayas, and Jada Pinkett Smith, “Gotham” will premiere on FOX on September 22.
